Mr Tom Woods just called me, explained some things that could have caused the flammable 1310 joint . I will chalk that up as knowledge I didnt have, and great information even though Im in the middle of accumulating 1350 stuff ( and I do intend to put a Tom Woods offset 1350 in place of the 1310 )

As a customer I always appreciate it when a vendor takes a minute to personally call and talk to me about anything , be it nailing down shipping details , warranty considerations or the likes. As a business person I hold alot of respect for others that do take that time out of there working schedules , managing there own business concerns and happenings to contact a customer, let them know they have recieved the order , part , inquiry or whatever and that they are getting things taken care of.

Thank you Tom Woods and Crew for great products and yet another good expierence with dealing with you guys. I hoist a cold one to you, its not going un-noticed !! thumb.gif

Okay Otis, so are you a human combustible or just WTF happened to the joint? To much lighter fluid on the caps, high horsepower overload, or not enough K- stuns to keep your chit cool? Give us the garb dood.

TTT !! :afro: Greg, he told me that the type of damage he saw on the trunnion was likely caused by a damaged yoke or something to that affect ( he said alot of specific and detailed things that went pretty much over and or around my head ) and you were there and saw that Yoke got some galling on it or whatever from Mountainside on boat ramp from you and I trying to get me back on the trial. ( thanks again for you help sir )

BUT... as he stated on the phone , he did hook me up and I do greatly appreciate it. Give them a try if you guys need any driveline help, www.4xshaft.com check it out ton's of great information there too !!

The Bronco is full of Tom Woods 1350 offset u-joints and shaft. He does good stuff without a doubt. thumb.gif

Sweetness, that is good to hear. If I have any issues with my shafts then I will call him.

Believe it or not, his prices are not as bad as I thought they were going to be for the Good Stuff. Front driveline complete with 1350's 32" long thick wall, with offset joint and 2- 1350 yolks (205-dana 44), $495.00. Didn't feel bad about that at all, although it has been awhile. thumb.gif

They are great to deal with.I twisted the yoke off my TW front shaft.Called Tom Woods and asked what it would cost to fix it,he said $71.00.Then I asked what the yoke would cost shipped and me have it welded on,he said $71.00.I'm like, well then, you'd rather work on your own stuff huh?He said yep.Ok,so I ship my shaft to them, they fix it and even install a new gold seal u joint. They ship it back and the total was $71.00,no extras added for shipping, handling or etc.. I had to call and tell them thanks, you dont get customer service like that a whole lot nowadays.
