So its time to buy a new camera. I am tired of my camera causing errors on the disc and loosing all the footage.
Thinking about getting a camera that has a harddrive instead of one that uses disc.
Anyone have any suggestions.

Yeah I am getting an HD sony, I think I found the one.

Just put a piece of tape over the red light so its not visible in the dark. ;D

I got my daughters Sony DV off eBay. Saved a lot, plus they threw in a lot of extras, like a 2nd battery, charger, tripod, 3 pk DV tapes. Plus no tax. Find the model number you want, then search. Some of these guys have spotless feedback with 10K plus feedbacks.

i use mini dvd recorder camers that way i can put it straight to the dvd player but i may have to check into hd camera's

I have been using a Mini dvd camera but lately when I go to upload the video to my computer the disc have an error code on them C:13:02 and it want let me get the footage of the disc or finalize it. Yesterday I spent all day at Morris Mountain and got some awesome footage and I got home and tried to upload it and my camera had completely erased the footage off one of the dvds and the other one it want let me upload says error.
I was sick to my stomach. I had some badass video of the Tenn. boys.
Donald destroyed the S10 Cab truck and Mike George flopped his buggy over twice and brian cole flipped also.

Thats why I want a camera with a hardrive so I don't have to worry about that problem anymore.

More info please...
Lets just say he broke the back glass out of it, killed the hood and bent the cab all up. He flopped it over on Loop Springs. He also bent the **** out of a rim.

those single CMOS sensor cameras are really good in low-light and are almost equivalent to a 3CCD camera... Go for it! ;D
