I came up with an idea on another forum to create a place for video tech... Since we already have a video shack, what so you guys think of an area to post up short video tech stuff...

It could be very useful...

Is it totally stupid or am I on to something???

Video tech... like as in how to rip videos, edit and good software? Mabey some stuff about diffrent cams. I just got a Ryobi Tek4 camera. Think it'll work out great for a all around trail cam.

I like the idea. I got some stuff I could film. Its hard explaining things sometime but a video clears it all up.

There could also be some simple tech things that noobs may find helpful...

What brought it up was a noob got death wobble and everyone was telling him what to check... All the usual stuff and I told him to have someone saw back and forth on the steering wheel while he laid under the rig and looked for anything that was wore out...

He wasn't sure how to tell if anything was wore out or not... A pic wouldn't really show him, but video would... My steering is far from stock, so I can't make a video for him... It dawned on me that we needed some videos to point people to for tech help...

Another guy on the forum is gonna record his set up with all new parts and hopefully someone else can record a wore out front to compare...

How-to's and such...

Thinking about talking to my buddy and recording a video of him drilling and tapping a chevy steering box for hydro assist... A lot of poeple get the idea, but seeing it drives it home...

Make a video of pulling some lock out hubs and installing slugs... Things like that and more...

What do you think Mike???
