So all the Hardline memebers went to Choccolocco Mountain yesterday.
This park is really good and has some insane obstacles. Thanks to the Peck, Trey and Al, for showing us around yesterday.
Here are a few videos I have loaded so far.

So why does MattO still have the hop in the front?

Just not enough room for more vertical seperation at the chassis is my guess. :dunno: Its a packaging problem in the front of that chassis... This is suspension major change #2 and it still does it, EOR added and put spring rates together for it, they didnt change anything geometry wise On a long enough time line and ALOT !! of redo and fab EOR could have cured it, but honestly that would require enough fab and redo that you'd be better off doing a chassis swap / different chassis or drivetrain setup. Dan at BTF did all he could with what he had packaging wise up front and its alot better without a doubt, but yea man that thing still has the hoppity hop front suspension at high wheelspeed vertical stuff. S&N had this chassis (Matts ) #2 and it was built for SLOW creepy crawly We-Rock stuff so it was never designed or engineered to take what Matt is throwing at it. Id be interested to talk to some other owners of this chassis with higher numbers and see what was done suspension wise and packaging wise to change things. Wonder if they still get that vertical wide open front hop ( if any one with an S&N is railing there **** anything near like what happens around here laughing1 ) Its a west coast crawler cross over rig no doubt.

In the vid it was driver error, ie too much wheelspeed and sticky tires grabbin for traction. I was trying to start in 2nd and for whatever reason it does not like that. The traction on that rock is insane and tires were grabbin but I guess too much wheelspeed to grip. Last attempt I started in 1st and put it on the floor and it was fine. The reason I feel this way is that this is the first time it has displayed similar characteristcs since Dan fixed it. I beat the piss out of it at Harlan on tons of high speed stuff and several people commented on how much better it was working. Situation and how I was driving IMO.

I was hopeing to catch ya'll there but my wife lost her brother in a motorcycle accident last friday and I have not been able to leave the house. Thanks for the videos Cole . Matt O would disagree with you there. laughing1

here's a slightly better "review":
I liked the loose high-speed hillclimb stuff. Reminded me a LOT of hotsprings with all the loose rock/boulders rolling around under the tires. The ledge climbs were nasty steep usually, and very technical(hell's revenge at least). I think half of the group or more broke or winched at some point in the day. thumb.gif
