VW door locks--vacuum operated?

So the door locks on the wifes car quit working and since I know nothing about the cars and schematics compared to domestic stuff are crap I am struggling a lil trying to figure out the system.

So I gather the actuators are vacuum controlled? The pump does not run at all..

I had a Audi 4k that had vacuum door and diff locks and it was crazy to troubleshoot.

Well it turns out a pump. I beat it with a hammer and it worked for a few,lol...

I have an extra pump from a Audi 4k I parted out that you can have if you'd like to screw with it to see if it works.
