Waggy springs on front of toyota truck

big :awesomework: :awesomework:

What are you doing playing with goofy leafs :D

I broke a main leaf in my skycraper springs. If I can't find another skycraper spring I'm going to put some waggys I have in. If i use the waggys will it move the frontend forward or back or stay the same ?
Thanks.

It should move it forward mark... I wanna say the waggies are like 23/24" eye to center pin..

IIRC, waggy are 22.5/24.5 and will stretch a wheelbase by 2" IF installed on a YJ. YJ run the spring mounts in the rear and I'm sure he is running the mount up front. This would mean the axle would be moved 2" back if the big eye was put forward, correct?
Can a spring be run backwards (small eye forward in a solid mount) without a problem?

Depends what year springs you have. Waggy springs (fronts) prior to '76 aren't offset at all.
