Sold/Expired Wanted: 4L60E Transmission for Mid 90's GM Truck

Looking for a 4L60E automatic transmission in good shape. Truck is a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500, 2wd, with the 350 small block. Truck has 286k miles on the original motor, but has just eaten its 3rd 4L60E (1st-3rd in good shape, but lost Drive and Overdrive, again).

Truck is driven around 800 miles as year as my run around/trash truck, so I'm not wanting to go the rebuild/reman route if possible.

Figured I'd check here to see if anyone has one floating around their shop or knows a guy that knows a guy etc...

Thanks for the post. So if I drive to NC to get that transmission, am I allowed to drool over the MJ too?

Absolutely, but bring your own swiffer for clean up, lol. Trans could make it to GMP around Dixie run time if needed.

Sounds good on self clean up duty. Will be back in touch on the transmission if that's the route the in laws want to go since I'd be spending their money (and my time) anyway.

odometer was like 240,000, shifted fine before pulling it. Northeast Ga, zip 30542

Decided not to fix the truck, but just sell it as is.
