Warn 9.5XP Worth????

Hey all, I'm workin on a deal, and was wondering what a very slightly used(meaning only a couple pulls) 9.5XP would be worth??? My buddy's selling the rig ('06 FJ Cruiser) it was on....It comes with Amsteel Blue rope, and a remote setup. Any input would be greatly appreciated!:awesomework: I've tried to search for what used ones are going for, but can only seem to find new prices. I also know what he paid for everything new, but don't want to feel like someone's getting the short end, if you know what I mean! :; Thanks in advance....kev

I have one, I mainly use it for winching my front axle. On the dozen or so times ive used it to recover other people it works fine. The run on(after you let off the switch and it keeps going) that 8274's and high speed stlye winches have is there but not as much. The motor is BIG so take that into account.

Given what I've listed, what do you think a fair price would be Bunk? Yeah, I know the run-on is longer on high speed winches--have an 8274 for the tow rig (just not on it!!

); And if it doesn't fit my box:redneck: , I can modify it!:awesomework:

~$850 is my guess. Depending on how long the amsteel cable is

Thanks Jake.....that's somewhere in the ballpark of what I was thinking.
Thanks Mark:awesomework: ....The winch was bought new in '06, when the rig was built, wheeled a couple times at Walker....was professionally redone (Nicest FJ I've seen in some time!!!); then put up for sale when he realized he needed more of a 'trail' rig!!!
