I know several people who've got a plasma table, but if a guy wanted something cut on a water-jet (or perhaps a lazer) table, where would he go?

Hoping for contact info, name & phone numbers would be great!

Thanks

I have a very slight rubbing issue with my TR beadlocks/tires and my rear coil springs. I'm hoping for a pair of 1/2" thick, aluminum wheel spacers, 5 on 5.5, with 9/16ths holes.

Since I need the holes to be exact, I thought a computer controlled water jet would give me a more precise spacer than one cut on a plasma. And yes, I realize I can machine (drill) out the holes for an exact fit. But it seems that nobody in Kitsap county has a water jet for hire.

With my current settup, I run 9/16ths screw in wheel studs, 2 inch long. Since the current axle flange is about 3/8ths or 1/2 inch thick, I've still got 1 & 5/8ths stud sticking out. I figure I can give up a half inch spacer, and the 1/8th or 3/16ths of the steel wheel and still have plenty of stud left to secure the wheels.

I will try(if time permits) to create a program for the cnc tomarrow and make you some spacers.....I'm pretty busy but will try to squeeze you in.......bear with me.

Search for username Waterknife here on the board, his name is tom. He owns spokane waterknife, super good guy to deal with!
I'll try Waterknife if Mauler isn't able to help.

Thank you. My next day off is Tuesday. If you can figure something out, I'll swing up then and pick up the parts. Lemme know what I owe. If you need any specs, send me a PM.
You can do that ****?...We gotta talk.:corn:
Don't fawk it up for me.... please....

CNC Mill is what you want for this Job. Take jeff up on his offer.

Other option is a cnc lathe with live tooling.

Doubt waterjet cutting will be cost effective. I know they charge big $ for anything I price out getting done up here.

Program written,I just have to fixture the .5 plate to the TOP of the wheel fixture which DOES NOT GET MOVED.....EVER... so I have to go over top of it....not too big of deal though.Center the part, Zero the tools and hit GO.

I'm doing this while bouncing between several running machines so it's taking longer than if I did start to part.Probably done later today or Mon.

We've got a waterjet machine here at work in Kent, Wa.:awesomework:

Sometimes we do side jobs here.

Let me know if you would like to get something quoted I could prob set something up with our fab shop
