Waterproofing seat covers?

I got a set of Corbeau seats a while ago.

For Christmas a few years back my wife got me a set of seat covers for them. They worked great keeping the water and crap out of them while trailering my open jeep to the trails.

As of recent the water is seeping through them into the seats ending up with a big puddle when I get to the trails.

I have washed the seat covers a few times. Never with soap, but I fear this has taken the water resistance out of them.

What is the best way to restore the seat covers water shedding abilities?

Silicone waterproofing spray? Camp Dry maybe...

They also make a product you wash material & an iron on material.
But Scotch guard would be the quickest and easiest.

I hit my corbeau covers with scotch guard after a wash them. Seems to work.
