I'm taking about 3/16" off the ring gear and using 3/8" plate on the bottom with a hat broken into it on the iron worker to add strength and save weight. 1/4" cover and narrowed 6". the 14 should take everythign we could ever ever throw at it. stock knuckles and front shafts in the rear aren't a winner for long distance jumping. I don't want to come down and have a comeapart like shirley did with his rear axle. this bish will be tube welded and trussed.
