My boss says that the worst time is the best time if you're gonna make it. When you are the most tapped out financially and at the end of your rope, that's when he still jumps on deals and overextends. Dont think that's sound advice for about 99% of the pop, but I'm resourceful and can seem to make money happen. SO, right when I'm getting ready to build a house and finish the shop, another house in town comes up. 85% redone, all the surrounding houses went for $100K plus in the same to worse shape than this one, $65K. Needs another 10K to be done. **** it, jumped on it. Now I had to do some creative financing to make sure this isn't on my credit so when I go to get money for my construction or final loan they don't deny me for already being too thin on paper (already way too thin laughing1) So I go to dad. He doens't have money, but has credit. he has no physical ability to fix up a house anymore, nor can he maintain it becuase he used up his body milking cows and farming for 45 years hard labor. I can fix it up, live in it til mine is done and maintain it when the renters come after I move out. I have to spend all the fix up dollars and maintain it, and make sure the mortgage is paid, but I can take the profits from the sale when the market comes back and split it with him. hoping to owe 75ish to $80K on it when completely done and roll out in 5 years. this is going to be a tough year and I need to sell the sheep or part it. **** it, I wheeled once this year, good enough, right
the mill, found a ball screw index mill, vertical, very large with digital readout and indexing turret adn some tooling for $2500 today. still tight. **** yeah. my equipment loan is getting bigger. I need a LOC to swallow this **** on. Need to talk to the banker, right laughing1 I think he's tired of seeing me.
oh yeah, and the wife hasn't stopped crying for 4 days straight, so that's going aweosme too
