I'm thankful that growing up I had TWO sensible parents to raise me....no they weren't Adam and Steve for the peanut gallery. ;)

Now that I'm older.....nearing 40....I'm seeing a new crop of people come in where I work and the work ethic is severely lacking in my opinion. Seem to be mostly kids.........that HAVE kids already and no mention of a father. :(

Losing my Dad not long ago...well...a year or so....I remember all the "common sense" stuff he taught me. The beatin's I took for thinkin' I was a big man......the bail outs when I ****ed up. I can't imagine not having that in my life growing up.

I'm never gonna be a millionaire....or a horse farmer with a Timmie Killer buggy.....but I'm thankful I had the help I did growing up.

Very true, I feel exactly the same way. The problem with kids today, is the parents pamper their ass. Common sense, ain't so common anymore. Got a couple kids at my job, same thing, work ethic sucks, more less, gotta baby sit the little ****ers.

2 healthy kids. I don't know what's in the water these days, but it seems like more and more kids these days are born with heart this and kidney that, and some are never born at all. To anyone who has had that happen to them, my deepest sympathies to you.

Tony, I am going to follow around the same lines as you. I am thankful that I had good parents to teach me to be an honest person and gave me the values I have. I come from a broken home and I am thankful that I have a good father who was still there, as well as a good step father who treated me as if I were his own blood. Both good men!

Also thankful for all the material **** I have that doesn't mean anything at all except proof I like to spend money. I am truly bless in this world with everything except children, which I don't want anyway. I have way more than I truly deserve.

Thankful to still have one of my Grandparents who is going to be 96 next week and is still in good health.

Thankful for a good woman that stands beside me!

Thankful for good friends and people that put up with my weirdness. ;) I'm certainly in the quality over quantity in that category.

I am thankful for my 6yr daughter! The only family I ever had was my grandmother! She raised me and was my everything! My mom and dad were never in pic. Because of her I am a better person/parent today! She died before my daughter was born and never got to meet her! I am very thankful and blessed to have been raised by her!

I am thankful to be able to start my business and to get away from the crap I was having to put up with. Not going home mad and pissed off every day has made a better relationship between my wife and me. :-*

I'm thankful for indoor plumbing, heat, food on the table, and a great family. :dblthumb:

Im thankful that God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for each and everyone of us to forgive us of our sins and that if we accept him that we can be with him one day in heaven, Im thankful for my family and my friends who are family to me, Im thankful for everything God has blessed me with including the opportunity to own a buggy and to have shared so many good times with everybody I have met riding.
