If you guys had to buy new beadlocks today in a 17" What would you buy? And from whom?

I'm looking at getting a second set of beadlocks. I currently have polished Walker Evans 17x8.5, 5" BS, With polished Champion Lock rings.
I would like my next set to have less backspace, so 3-4" range would be ok.

Do I stay with polished Walkers and get the 3.75" BS, do I get a set of Shiny Black and run the same polished Champion Lock rings? Who would you order from since we all know Shaffers sucks, and direct from WE is esssspensive.
Allieds?
Trailready's?
KMC's?
Gordons?

Not looking to go steel, trying to stay aluminum. The plan, have a full set of spares for KOH, then use as needed over the season. Next fall build new racer, and retire the current car to trail duty for the wife and kids. You know since I trail ride SO MUCH. ::)

Thanks fuggers :flipoff1:

I like the poison spyder ones---kmc's heard too many issues with em..
Yeah I put KMC on there to rile Matt up. Left PS off due to their current downsizing.

Allieds or Robby Gordon

If you go back with Walkers's use David with Northridge 4x4. He has the best deal on them, hands down.

You got it rough man. :flipoff1:

I like Allieds a lot and the Gordons are nice also. Nothing wrong with Walkers though, but why have 2 sets IMO

downsizing jeep parts--he said they are focusing more on their wheel line as well as their custom rock rods... just not jeep parts anymore. PSC wheels are really just made by wheelpro's like KMC and the like...

I love my wheels. I highly recommend them. Other than that, the new Allieds.
Nolen whats the best price you've seen on the Gordons, I know Twisted got set up as a dealer would that we a good way to go if I went that way?

On the Allieds, new as in the current Monster's like on Joels (AC buggy)? Where has everyone had love getting their Allieds?

I want Walkers just because they are sessay, If Robby Gordans are the joints on Nolan's and I was bling like you fuggers Id give that a shot.

For spares, why not DIY'ers and save alot of $$$ :dunno:

I haven't heard much feedback about them but the trail gear beadlocks seem to fit what you're looking for and they are less expensive than most. It's something to consider.

Kim busted a Posion spider wheel in half and has bent 2 more this year. And I dont think you can get that back spacing in a PS wheel.

I watched the one happen in Hannibal, and then seeing her still come across the finish with it. We put our stuff through some tough **** thats for sure.

EOR sells Allied, and usually has good prices. The Monster wheels are the most expensive out there though. I think they were in the $400 range per wheel. Get some KMCs they will be badass. :flipoff1:

Allieds from EOR, or robby gordons when I get a buggy one day.

I have the Allied steels and do not like them as they flex and bend very easily. Maybe it's me and my Stevie Wonder drivings skills, but I have flexed each and every wheel up. :dunno:

Anyone ever heard about BTR?

F-O-A is selling their wheels. He can drill them for any bolt pattern as he has blanks.
They are a cast 17x8 with 4.5" BS, and a 24 bolt ring. I'm wondering if its the same ring pattern as WE, CWI???

I'm thinking with this style CWI ring like I currently run it would look. Not in gold but....

$300 a wheel thats temping huh?

It wont really solve my wanting to be wider thoughts, as I only gain 1/2 on the BS, but lose the 1/2 on the narrower rim on that leading edge. So they would be the exact same width as where I currently am. But $300 sounds pretty good.

...and the one she broke at the rock race in Harlan this spring. So...broke two of them. In case anyone didn't know, they are KMC wheels, btw. I don't know if misplaced rebar had something to do with the Harlan break...but still. Two broken wheels and two bent wheels in a short time span is not lucky.

If you were 6 lug I would go Trail Gear locks all day. They are $299/shipped and look great. The new Trail Ready HD is also nice and can be had for cheaper. The WE are classic and they have lots of color options and rings to choose from. The allied monsters are SICK, but at over $400 each they are not cheap. For spares I would go with CHEAP.
