What do you carry?

So since I am finally getting my rig up to par I figured it was time to also go thru what I got and update it all. I have always prided myself on being self sufficient in the woods and I like to do the occasional solo runs.

So tonight I started with spare stuff I carry.

1. Serpentine belt
2. Hydro hose with fittings (When I rework my rig I will convert to the replaceable ends and just carry a chunk of hose)
3. Fittings at the ram (90 degree elbo's)
4. ARB hose, switch, solenoid and pressure switch
5. Fuel pump
6. Valve stems (rubber and metal) and valves
7. Toyota trunnion bearings
8. Small selection of nuts/bolts (both standard and metric)
9. Small chunks of steel
10. Couple 3/4 hiems with 3/4 to 5/8 insert
11. Bailing wire
12. Nylon rope
13. Garbage bags.
14. Selection of wire crimp stuff from butts to eyelets
15. Some chunks of wire
16. Couple relays
17. Cotter pins
18. Zip ties in different sizes.
19. Front axle U-joint
20. 1310 U-joint and U-bolts
21. 1350 U-joint and U-bolts

My next chore is go thru my tools.

I guess you have trunnion bearings for the same reason I have 1310's in my box.

Tire plug kit, brake fluid, elec tape, zipties, brakleen and wd-40 are my most commonly used/borrowed items.

I typically bring food and drink and I am willing to trade my buddies lunch for the things I need. Much better then carrying all that crap myself when everyone I wheel with has spare parts and tools. I need to get a microwave in there and I wont even have to work on mine when it breaks. Im the resident 6 foot 180lb fat ass of my group.

My next chore is go thru my tools.

I need to do the same. I used to know exactly what was in there but after my flop a few months back everything got jumbled and tossed back into the bag and action packer.

The good thing about wheeling Elbe and Evans is if you do break most times a main road (9 road at Elbe, or one of the forest roads at Evans) isn't that long of a winch or tow. And then its limp mode back to the trailer.

Unlike the Cheese when I pretzled my driveline. that was a long trip back to the trailer.

1330 u joint u-bolt kit, crankshaft position sensor, ARB splice & solenoid, tire plug kit. I think that's about all that's in my rig right now.
