A lot of it is just that I tow with a taco and want my rig tight.  No hopping, no moving, no body sway.  I doubt it moves more than 1/8" in a 10 hour pull across the Appalachian mountains.  Another side effect of pulling with a taco is the 12' trailer.  For me having a light trailer is more important than the ability to haul whatever I come across.  Because there isn't much room behind the buggy it limits my options.


The chains are a little different now that I've redone the links (notice the top and bottom pics are different) but it's nearly the same thing.
