a ford ranger doubler my buddy is thinking about doing one it looks ghetto does anyone have any first hand expierience with them or advice thanks

I don't have any real world experience with them, but was looking into it when I had my ranger. The problem is the spud shaft will break if you do the weld to pieces together method. IIRC, DD machine was making the doubler kits for awhile, with a new billet spud.
