So during Easter jeep safari 2013 (which was crazy fun!) I managed to crack the tail housing off the tranny (turbo 400) which resulted in us removing it, ruff stuff specialties tig welding it together a lot of jb weld and some rvt to Finnish out the week!

So three questions;

In looking for a replacement tranny they are nowhere local so I am looking at a monster tranny with extra ribbing on the output of the case, is this a reputable tranny builder?

Second wanting to use a clocking ring to flat belly running a 205 is there any issues I need to know with clocking this tcase?

Third the rear drive-shaft is too short and binds a little when unloading so I want to get rid of the slip yoke, is it cheaper to get a tcase without the slip yoke or to replace the externals?

J&W has a new case for the Th400. ATI and Reid does too. Check them out. PTC is beefing up the rear of the case too.

something caused it to crack i think you need to find out what caused it to crack first or it might crack another case

TTF Makes a Nice adapter that replaces the stock adapter that will let you clock your transfer case where ever you want it. For more info on it just find mpascino on Pirate. I have ordered a couple parts From him and they are top notch.

Is your transfer case supported/ bolted to chassis as well or is it just hanging off the back of the transmission?

I have used Monster in the past and do NOT recommend them. Sent me a bad torque converter, it had DEF written on it when we got it. I called the and asked if this meant defective and why it had this written on it. They told me not to worry it was good, install it. From install it made a terrible rattle. Removed it a couple off weeks later and installed the stock converter.... all was good. They would not refund my money or even discuss it. Use PTC, never heard a bad word about them and great customer service.

Also make sure your motor, tranny, and tcase are mounted with the same method(poly, rubber, or hard mounted).
