I won't argue with you, but I've been running redline synthetic gear oils in transmissions for years, usually without changing them. Even in high speed, high horsepower applications.The stuff shifts nicer.As for diff oils, yeah, run whatever.On modern engines I use synthetics only. On older machines, non synthetic for sure.
