What shocks to buy on toyota?

Im about to order some shocks for my leaf sprung f-toy and just wanted to ask what is a good shock to buy..I know everyone likes bilsteins but why do I need them what is the difference in them and a cheap pro comp? I dont mind buying the bilsteins or if their is another alternative shock...I need atleast a 14in travel

I bought the doestech off lowrange work good for me. But I had bilsteins on the front before it became an ftoy they worked to. But I'm a cheap ass

Ive spent the money on Bilsteins and I've been cheap and ran the DT's like hpj is talking about. Unless you have to have a brand name, rock whatever you find is within your budget and fits your application.

The DT's always worked great for me...and I even ran some of the ES3000's from Pro Comp...and actually still have a pair on the front of my rig.
