I'm sure Mast stuff is nice and I know everyone here is a Mast . But it isn't required. There are exponentially more people in the world making serious power with ultimate reliability using stock ECM's than there are using Mast. At least with stock stuff there is a chance in hell that you can find a replacement in a pinch from multiple sources. With Mast you know everything is always a mere UPS shipment away and not on weekends with only one source for technical expertise except on weekends. I think they even use their own unique data port, right? So if you have issues and don't have your laptop with you, forget trying to use a cheap scanner?Especially if you have an E67 ECM, which I think the LS3 does. I've heard that ECM is amazingly powerful and reliable, GM's flagship ECM based on the best upgrades to all the previous ones.
