My issues are definitely self-inflicted, although I was just copying setups from Pirate.  The debate here was weather it was easier to fix the self-inflicted wounds or just switch to propane and also what would be better in the long-run.


I've decided to make one more attempt with EFI.  I'm going to either buy or make a much larger fuel cell and redo whatever tube work in the rear is necessary to properly redirect air from my fan.  I'm also going to eliminate Walbro pickups as they are just a huge bottleneck, IMO.


I'm still not convinced that LPG isn't the better long-term option though.  My gut instinct when I started the buggy was BBC with dual propane mixers.  But I didn't want a 700 lbs engine and I bought into the LS / EFI hype last minute and splurged.  Honestly, for what it cost to buy the LS2 and get it running I probably could have had double the power in a BBC.  Hindsight is 20/20 though.
