How can I tell what tranny I have on my 01' dodge(auto). I am under the assumption the pan is the same as a 727?

That one says its for a 48re, and you have a 47re and i'm pretty sure they arn't interchangeable...
From what I have seen, the TF727, 47RH, 47RE, and 48RE all use them same style pan and they are interchangeable.

Mike, it says that it will fit a 727, A-518, A-618, 44RH, and a 48RE. Just might want to call and verfy before u drop the coin on it, but if u do and it does not fit I will give yah $50 bucks for it :fawkdancesmiley: :redneck: .

Thats what I have been seeing but that doesn't tell me what tranny I have :flipoff: I searched for over an hour last night trying to get confirmation on what tranny is in the dodge and it seems all the listed above trannys use the same pan configuration..
So I found one thats got 6 quarts more for $138
its a 47re...
