What's it worth... 8.8 from '90 F-150

So my dad drug home a '90 F-150 with an inline six and a 5 speed, wrecked in the front end. He got it as part of a deal with a bunch of other trucks and truck parts, and after we got to looking at it, it has an 8.8 axle out back (unless they used some other axle that looks identical to the 8.8). It has drum brakes, looks to be a few inches wider than a regular explorer 8.8, and has a 5 on 5.5 lug pattern.

What's it worth? Obviously it's not the 97 and later super sweet disc brake rear 8.8, but it is a bit wider than the explorer ones, and has the 5 on 5.5 lug pattern, so it would make a great swap for CJ guys or heck anybody who would rather have 5 on 5.5 instead of 5 on 4.5.

He wants to part the rig out, and I know the 8.8's out of explorers go for 300-400 bucks, so give me an idea.

Cause Jeepers are stupid enough to pay that for them...

My local yard sells rear axles for $136. No matter what they are out of.

If that F-150 rear end doesn't have desirable gears like 3.73s or 4.10s... $100.

ive seen so many 8.8 bend and flex IMHO it is worth its weight in scrap. cant lock them with a lunchbox locker or ARB unless you truss it to eliminate the flex. too much work for a weak rear end.

if you could get a hundred id surely take it....
