Wow yeah that engine looks like it never had an oil change. Hope you're able to get in touch with the guy and get something resolved.I bought my engine from a salvage yard. It came with the donor truck vin # and was a lower mileage engine supposedly. Still made me nervous tho to take someone's word on mileage. I felt better after I pulled the oil pan and looked at the rotating assembly.
