Wheel question for all you guys running beadlocks and such..:D

I have purchased a new set of tires for my jeep... I got TSL 33x12.5x15 (bias plys) wanted to go larger but trying to keep this rig a little reasonable to get in.

My question is.. I want to put beadlocks on so I can run lower pressures, I was planning on doing a set of weld-ons, but my problem is.. how wide of a wheel should I use?? should I go with the 15x10's like I have on my 33 in tsl radials? or since I am going to use beadlocks should I go with an 8 in rim???

never ram the things before and I don't know which wheel would be better.

any help????:corn:

Doing the DIY beadlocks adds 1/2"-3/4" of effective rim width.

That said, I'd put them on 8" rims and wait on the beadlocks until you decide you actually need them. A 10" rim is really too wide for those tires if you're going to air them down. My guess is that you won't lose too many beads on an 8" rim unless you're regularly below 6psi.

thanks guys.. this is the info that I was looking for...

I was thinking that I was going to have to go to an 8 in... but just wanted a second opinion.

longfields weld ons..... have a link to these?? I willcheck them out as I have not yet ordered mine.

I am looking at the overstock weld-ons... but willing to check out others.
