Is this a TH350 or 400?

Thats a TH400. Looks like its got the short output for a 208 or a 241, but don't hold me to that. The 205 is for a 4 speed, thats why its a coarse spline. You could get this http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/pn-50-3201/ Or find the right input and adapter for that 205 to go to a 400. They made a long input for a 205 that might work with that short output on the transmission. What is the measurement on the output shaft of the transmission? (Also to make a 32 spline input work for that 205 you will have to have the case machined for the bigger bearing that carries the input shaft.)

Looks like the 400 -> 203 adapter with the short 32 spline output.

Just get a 203 then the doubler adapter.

i am going to have a th400 to np203 adapter and the complete np203 with the 32 spline input for sale after tomorrow

Well I don't really want a doubler or have to buy a $500 AA adapter. So it looks like I need to find another 205.

You have a 205 that was behind a sm465. Your can change the 205 input to a 32-spline female input, but that would require you have the 205 case bored out to accept a larger bearing.

I think I have the 6-bolt TH400 to the figure 8 205 adapter you need if your interested.

If that is a HD TH400 I would buy it from you if you want to sell it.

th400's have somthing like 6 different length output shafts for different t-cases
i have a good 400 and 205 w/ adapter that i would take $400 for all of it... all together, not mismatched...

Circle 6 or fig 8?. If the trans case is good thats a good deal.
Op, on what you have you would have to make a bastard setup. Ned the long 85 and up input after boring the case to reach the short shaft.
Cucv is 208

Not all CUCVs are 208. There are some with NP205, typically the ambulances and other "non-standard" pick ups. Just not nearly as common.

To make this set up work, the NP205 input bearing will have to be bored. This is easy on a mill;but probably goin to cost you at least a $100, you will also need the female input for th400 NP205 which is another $150... Then you still need th adapter, another 100-200.... Buy the complete setup dragbody has, sell your parts for what you can get and save yourself some trouble and money.

Yea I think I may sell this 205 and not have to mess with boring out the 205. Plus this 400 needs to be gone through anyway so I can swap out the output shaft when I do that for whatever transfer case I find.

The output shaft in your TH400 is the short 203 output. The 208 or round pattern 205 output is about an inch longer. The output for the fig 8 205 is much longer and stick out of the case like 4.5". I've got a round pattern 205 with adapter and th400 output shaft for $350. Its posted in the FS section.
