So my stock headlight in my 89 xj suck ass!! So I am looking to adding some off road lights to the front. I was thinking of getting some HID's or even some nice halogen. So what are you guys running? I want somethin really bright so when those blue lights come at me i can blind them :flipoff:

My experience with aux. lights is they are the first thing that flying gravel finds, so I go cheap, the ones on my DD are $10 walmart lights and honestly aren't bad. More than enough to get someone to shut down their high beams at night. I'm thinking about a set of these for my baja.

But I'm gonna stop by schucks and wally world and see what's available local too.

You can also find HID conversion kits for most halogen lights.

the HID kits are cheap $37 on ebay. work great. make sure you buy them in the U.S. or else shipping takes awhile.

I'm running some cheapo day-lighters by KC on my XJ. they work great but are utterly illegal on the road. I would recommend some small cheap lights though. :awesomework:

Any driving light can be made illegal by where you mount it. Once you get above the height of your headlights you're supposed to have the covers on once you hit the street.
