Does anyone know who Randy Morris and Tony use for insurance at their off road parks?

I was asked by a private park owner in New Mexico this morning and I have no clue who writes this kind of coverage.

If you guys that know them well could ask them, I would appreciate it. I would like to help steer this guy in the right direction.

I am not sure who they use and if they use any. I don't think about insurance companies will right it. If I remember correctly, Tony said he could not get insurance at the SFWDA meeting a while back, but I can't say for sure

Someone out there underwrites this type of insurance, otherwise motocross places and ORV parks could not stay in business in the society we live in.

Can someone email Tony that knows him?

You do realize you're talkin about alabama right(hopefully not as sue crazy as california)? :flipoff1: Wouldn't suprize me if either park or both parks roll with no/minimal insurance I'm sure it's EXPENSIVE :o I remember trying to get a skatepark in our neighborhood in FL... Insurance for that was ridiculous so even after budget and space approved it got nixxed because of insurance.

That's true.. We lice in a sue happy society... But just because someone's takes you to court doesn't mean they will win... Thus them paying the court costs being the plaintiff..

It's a big factory w/ negligence and as i've read it for a park owner to be negligent in the event of a patron getting injured the said owner would have had to conceal something or not provide adequate warning for an ''unusual for the circumstances" situation....

ie... Dig a big hole, cover it w/ sticks ane not tell anyone about it... Guy falls in, no sign, sued..
Not.. signing waiver at moto-x track.. entering track, crash out, break legs and sue.. won't work...

I remember SFWDA talking about it being crazy expensive to get now, like 20k to cover the two events they run each year. But yeah it is event insurance. Not sure what they use if anything for liability insurance at the park
