It's time to buy my coil over springs for my shocks. Like anyone I'm shopping it to see who has the best deals. Any help is appreciated. Also is there any noticeable difference between the fighter end springs like PAC and the lower end like viper? What I'm looking for is 2-200-16", 2-250-16", 2-150-18", and 2-200-18" in black.

Down South Motorsports had the best deal on KIngs a few years ago and they had them valved the way I asked for without added cost.

I got my springs from the guys at PAC. They even had them Powder coated my Highlighter Yellow Color for me. They are focused on quality above all else.
They are Good Folks that support our sport. Never seen a "Viper" sticker on a buggy before?

I've been told that Vipers have inconsistent actual spring-rates. You can't beat the quality of Pac Springs for the price.

I've already got shocks and they came from down south. Just haven't contacted them yet to see about prices. Down south motor sports are good folks.

Im not worried about a sticker. One of my buddies is a PAC dealer. I've already gotten a price for pac springs. I have one buddy that competes and runs viper springs. I know people are loyal to a certain brand and some are not. Truth is there are probably only about 3-4 manufacturing plants that make all brands for them. does PAC sell directly to the public?

Anyone running Eibach? They are considerably cheaper than pac?

5bros had a set of eibachs on his ranger. They seemed to do well.

Been told by who? Is this talking or proof? Not disputing Neal, just asking.

Who the hell is that?

On a different note, how much would a slightly varied or inconsistent spring rate matter to someone that trail rides? Would it be that important as long as it were within a certain tolerance? Again not being argumentative, asking for personal knowledge.

Wayne Israelson is the guru of all thing Coilovers. Not in Alabama but in the US.

I just bought a full set of springs from Wayne (Alltech Motorsports, actually It was Chris, his assistant). They were very helpful, I gave then all my info and they coached me on what/how to do it. I tried to use WOD first, but they blew me off twice.......

Probably not much at all, though i'm not sure how far off in actual rate he was talking about. personally i'd rather support an American company like Pac for a few bucks more over Viper (made in China)

Wayne is awesome, indisputably the number one shock guru in rocksports, but he'll take the time to work with or help anyone. And very reasonable in price.

Re:

X2 on Wayne. Recently had a tuning day with him, extremely helpful and willing to share knowledge, if you have an open mind.

I always wonder why there isn't a spring trade thread like on pirate. Seems like a good idea. Or maybe I missed it.. But pholmann, me personally I like about 275 in top chamber, and 120 ish in bottom ... :stir:
Hahah. U know I had to. Sorry. ;D
