confused me also. His post had a couple words that matched my topic. I think it is a bot and not an actual person. Check IP location and see where it is from.

Some forums have to have a post count before sending pm's or seeing the member list. By doing this they can hide on the boards a little while and message members instead of posting a topic and getting banned pretty quick.
