Just a follow up on this. The V-10 pulls it's self pretty good. Cruise speed empty or loaded seems to be about 65mph. The 5 Star Programmer is a must for the V-10. It really wakes it up performance wise, helps out with the shift logic, and might have added 1mpg on average. We are pretty consistent at 8mpg. The Rv fights the wind and it doesn't seem to matter what we put behind it, it still keeps at 65mph except for steep hill or really strong headwinds, I'm good with that.I would have never considered a truck or Excursion with a V-10 as a tow rig but I'm pretty impressed.
