I need to buy a new orbtial valve. I see a lot of return to center Orbtial valves. I'm using a tsc ram.. What would work better? Non return to center or return to center ..

LR or NLR.

LR is not really a return to center orbital valve but more so a feel or feed back valve. If your caster and toe in is set right, it will return to center while you are driving forward.

NLR - non load reaction has less feed back with it and will sorta stay where you leave the wheel.

LR valve's should be used on balanced steering cylinders i.e. Shaft protruding out both ends of the hydraulic cylinder barrel. Reason being is when cylinder is in the center or middle stroke, there is equal fluid on both sides of the cylinder piston. The LR valve will work much better with this cylinder.

NLR valve will work on either but better suited for the unbalanced steering cylinders i.e. shaft protruding out one side of the hydraulic cylinder.

I've used both and only use the NLR valves on either cylinders anymore. I could not stand the feed back with the LR valves.

I run a load reactive orbital , balanced ram with -7 degrees caster. It returns to center after a turn like it should on trail and pavement. It does give a little feedback on the trail when hitting rocks and trees. I like it for how I ride.
If you riding style is more rockbouncing than trail riding or crawling I would go for a NON load reactive valve. Should help help keep the tires pointed where you want them after taking a hit.

X2

I did not like the feedback with the LR valve at all and I do drive fairly aggressive so...
