Who's running transmission/transfer case coupler?

I'm putting in a 350 turbo to a 205 case that had a sm456 4 speed before, , I'm thinking about running a 27 spline to 10 spline coupler, , anyone else running a coupler? How strong are they? I'll be running mild built 400sbc with 43" stickies. Thanks

I've never seen a coupler like you're talking about but why not swap out the input gear for a 27 spline?

I've got that coupler in mine. Ordered it from advanced adapters. Looks like a beefy piece . It's not in a bouncer but I don't think that would be the weak point.

Thanks for the reply guys, I'm not a bouncer either, just trails and occasional hill or two. Just wanted to see if anyone thought they were weak.
