see if it will start on starting fluid.On my buddies truck he told me about its weird habits and how it would start sometimes but not others.I just made him a soda bottle with a little hole in the cap and left it full of gas for him. Told him the next time it would not start to just squirt some gas in the intake tube and see if that starts it each time that it would not start on its own.It would run everytime off the fuel bottle and then keep running once started and it tipped me off to switch the tank/pump.
