Will Capt Carl make the first Krawlers ride ??

my accident put a dinger in his plans for finishing his rig today. Will he buck down and make it happen before next weekend or will he throw in the towel and not put any time in it this week ???

I think he should buck down and still finsih it.... I want to see that Jeep getting hamered on ( and not by me jumping it )

Plus I need him to help me kickout the Turd windshield :flipoff1:

All he needs to do is put the bumpstops on the back and raise the mounts for the coils out back ( 1hour tops... )

Then decide on the front suspension and steering. I say stick with the DE ram for this trip and see how it works out. He has everything to lower the steering if it is an issue later. Make this ride and roll out. He's been talkin big game about a set of Tcase gears for the D300 so hopefully that will be the next set of mods.

the clevis ends are loose on it, basically he'd have to rebuild them , or spend 100 with BM to make threaded ends in that ram. Its up to high right now for the low ride hieght we are going for and he instead opted for a 40 dollar SE ram instead of the re'do with the de ram. Cheap and easy road, thats how Brennan rolls. :popcorn:

Yea its an on going thing with his rig. We need to buck down the lil stuff Tuesday and see how it performs. Hopefully he wont have a wedding or tea party after the coming weekend and we can sort some things out. He needs to spend a grip of time under that dash.. holy ish its nasty in there.

Totally agree on all counts, looking forward to Tuesday night. The underside of his dash needs love bad!!!

so lowering it would fix it? what about using the clevis ends I built for the turd on his?

That woudl work.. the steering is a minor issue at this point ( on road ) We are dropping it to ease up the body roll and make it more stable. Its come down a TON since its first ride. Id guess overall once its said and done 5-6 inches...

The steering wont get dealt with this week. It has to be what it be for now. as we dont have time this week to mess with it much. Basically have Tuesday and thats all. Id like to see the DE ram get used and fixed up. Time will tell though.

HaHa, I only run one a SE ram because I did not have a choice. Just having that BL gone and mounts lower in the back will make a world of difference...

He wants to street the **** out of it. And putting a single end 40 dollar ram is cheaper than getting further into the one he has. Its B man... you just gotta roll with it. If he spends less money and 3x the time, that is the route he will take. ;D
