winch solenoids

Where can I get some quality winch solenoids? I don't have to buy them straight from warn do I?

TC's in Kent is an authorized Warn service center. They did some warranty work on my winch last year.

any parts store will have them, they came on older cars i think just as a regular solenoid for like a starter, hmm, i think old fords and jeeps had them MAYBE, i can't fully remember, i know i got one for my electric fans $17 i think:awesomework:

They wont work off car starters because they arnt made to run long time like a winch does. I got my new ones from 4wheelingpartsplus and it was $50 for four.

Solenoids

You can use the automotive starter solenoids but you should get the heavy duty one's. Also be sure to get the solenoids with the poles located like you need them or you will find yourself making new leads to connect them together. I have done this and have had no issues regarding continious use. Only the above mentioned problem. I personally have found its a lot easier to just buy exactly what you need regardless of the price when it come to winch solenoids. Saves time and trouble, plus you shouldnt have to change them out that often.

Just my .02 Cents. Cause I know that many others would disagree.
