Anyone have any recomendations on where to take an old winch to have it gone through?

I've got a old Ramsey 9,500lb winch sitting in the garage collecting dust. I want to either sell it or throw it on the trailer. Either way I need to get it going again. It came with a rig I bought but it wasn't working when I bought it.

It'll power in/out under no load but craps out under load, it just slowly dies (think of a cordless drill on its last bit of the battery, where it slowly dies).

I tried to contact Ramsey directly for some info on what to test but haven't gotten a response from them.

Being that it'll pull under no load I figure it's a motor issue not a solenoid issue.

Nelson truck equipt. in Kent is a factory authorized dealer for ramsey. If your the original owner they have a lifetime warrenty on most things however you may have to ship it to them to have them honor it :booo:
