Winches In Hell

So the word I heard was they are going to do a retest in a month or so, will be interesting to hear what happens.

too bad they didnt put the 8274 in there just for comparison sake...:stirpot:

Im gonna replace my warn with a chicago. I would prefer a slower winch to move my axle around.
 
I've abused the crap out of my Chicago winch. It's slow as hell but still works every time. As for the cable retainer coming loose- duct tape. Then get a good first wind on the drum and don't pull it out too far. My 100' cable is now effectively 80' or so but that emergency trail fix is still working fine, pulled up, through and over everything. Someday I'll fix it right but it's not "disqualified".
