Start Time: 10am Eastern
Stop Time: 2pm Eastern
Location: Lower Shed (Directly Across the street from General Store
We are organizing a Clean Up day for the mountain. We are inviting everyone that wants to come out and participate. Doesn't matter what you drive. Most already have Land Use Permits, but if you want to bring a passenger on that day to help out then a Complimentary Permit for the Day of the Cleanup will be given to the passenger. The Driver still needs to be a permit holder. Trash Bags will be provided. If you have some other apparatus that will help you in this endeavor than bring it along. Whatever helps you.
Each vehicle will be assigned a partner vehicle or you can pair up with someone. Trails will be assigned to each pair and in the case of long trails the trail will be broken down into sections. The exact details will be announced the morning of the cleanup. Here is a chance to make a difference. I would love to see as many pictures of the event and for this to be a highly visible venture.
If you have a 4x4 Truck or Jeep and have a small 5x10 or 6x12 trailer that you can pull we need about 3 or 4 vehicles that will run the main gravel roads that I designate to pickup garbage bags. That way people can pop up to the gravel rd and leave trash bags to continue collecting. Keeps everyone from having to run down to the parking lot to the dumpster. Let me know if you can bring a trailer to do this. Like I said we only need 3 or 4 vehicles to do that.
At 2pm we will meet back at the starting point in the parking lot. With all the trash we collected for a group picture. That pretty much explains it all.
Just so you all know this is not the first time we have done this. But it is the first time on this scale.
Thanks
Ron
