Windrock this Saturday.... 19th

I may be in. Debating on where to ride/camp this weekend. Just don't like riding Windrock without another rig.

I understand that.....recovery/assistance can be tough on some trails there.

Re:

In my opinion it's not so much that it has those couple bad spots ...it's just that if you break back there you're really **** out of luck because you're in a soup bowl and need to come up hill through some rough stuff to get out of there.

So for me that's always in the back of my head when I'm hammering on it and beating on it

At the creek crossing there's some pretty big boulders that will swallow up a 43 inch tire

Alternator went out on me a couple years ago coming out of the creek. Efi sucks a battery quick. 2am before we got fixed and loaded.

Barring a catstrophe at work, I'll be there.

What trails we gonna hit before rail trail? Normal stuff or straight there?

How bad is rail trail :driving:
It's a good technical, line up, and get with it to trail in spots. No need to flat foot it, but some times you do need to let it eat. But, Tony is right, it's a long way to pull someone out.

6 or 7 years ago, probably only half of the rigs that dropped in at the creek could drive up the other side. The rough parts are further up the main trail now IMO.

me n dad idled up 21 in the rzr not long ago... just throwin that out there
I'll have to call bullshit on this one Alex. Not sure how long ago your not long ago is but just the last time I ran it with Tony I took out my rear driveshaft. Tony had to winch and so did I !!!!!

Would like to ride but it looks like you are hitting the hard stuff this weekend. Have fun talk to you soon. Darren

Re:

You'd probably be fine..... there's just a couple spots on that rail trail that are pretty tricky actually just one because you can take a bypass around the other.

Darren you could probably roll too.... I mean we'll just winch you through the bad spot and then after that you should be good to go.

Also Darren on that spot on 21 where we had to winch... I think it's just a bad spot for a wide rigs or trucks. I think the razor could probably go right around that spot and not even notice it was bad.

I think the main reason I had to winch was because of that stupid tree got stuck around the rear tire and I couldn't do anything.
