Winters shifters?

I'm in the market for a shifter for my buggy the trans is a th400 forward shift. I'm not liking any of the ratchet shifters that I've used or seen in use with my wheelin pals. I've narrowed my options down to either a Winters or a dirt car shifter. Any of you guys running a Winters if so do you recommend buying one? Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

I'm kinda wishing I would of went with a dirt track shifter myself.

I like my winters shifter, I would probably go back and do it again. I cut the gate out so I can shift from any gear to rev instantaneously. I bought mine from WOD, great customer service!

Just cut the gates out of a ratchet shifter so you can shift through any gear except park with out ****ing around with the ratchet

I love my winters shifter. I run a forward shift TH350. Forward to Reverse shifts are no longer an issue. The only moving parts in it are the pivot and the cable. It is very simple to operate and know exactly what gear you are in without having to shift to find out. I plan to use them from here on out unless something better hits the market.

I got mine from there as well....great guys to deal with. Probably the best price on them as well. I havent used mine, other than making vroom vroom noises going through the gears in the shop...works well for that!! :****: :flipoff1:
