Should everything have its own fuse? I have only a few circuits. Fan and fuel pump fused. Then led lights and a few light circuits. Or can I use a fuse for the ignition circuit to protect the light weight stuff in case of accidental ground?

fuel pump and fan, at a minimum should have a relay. Each circuit needs to have a fuse as well, otherwise if there is an accidental ground it could fry the entire system.

There are some 12v ignition sources. Like to the computer compressor and fan. Since these are low volt signal wire do they need a fuse? Or just the main power wires to them

I had a 22 circuit universal for a jeep project and contemplated getting a 8 circuit for the buggy but since every system is stand alone and has its own fuses already except 4 of them I figured it would be easiest to do inline fuses.
