Wisdom tooth pain

I had my bottom left wisdom tooth pulled today. He numbed the whole left side of my face up as usual and literally took a pair of pliars and wiggled it out. I didn't feel a thing at the time but now the numbness has went away and it's hurting, bad. I took the pain pills he gave me and I couldn't tell anything. Any of yall that have had this done know of anything I can do to help with pain and to stop the bleeding? :-X

I had three of mine pulled last year. I would take Advil between the pain pills. For the bleeding I would just keep the gauze applied and change it out regularly. The worst part about mine is I had to be at a meeting about 6 hours after they were removed. That was not a pleasant meeting.

What pills did they give you??? 5's, 7.5's, 10's... Blue speckles.. Pink??
Whatever.. just double it..If you start Foaming at the mouth, or feel the need to jump out a window.. Reduce dosage immediately...

And No straws... :flipoff1:

Here was what I did when I had mine out...stopped on the way home and bought two bottles of whiskey. Drank on one that night til I fell asleep (passed out), then the next day finished it up and started on the next with the same result as the previous day...then by Sunday, I was all good, no pain, no infection, and no swelling...although I was a bit groggy for a few days...

mine got infected as hell from letting it go way too long. 103 temp at work and finally got to the doc next day. too infected to take it out. pills for 2 days, finally goes down a bit, then he does the whole pliers and foot on my chin thing and tears it out. wow that felt awesome to be numb.
There is nothing I found for the pain unless you have a good oxy hookup. take more than they say. drinking with those pills is bad for your liver, but what isn't. Mickey Mantle that ****.

I got the blue speckled ones. Taking one every six hours and it's not helping a dang thing. I'm taking Tylenol Extra strength every 2 hours also. The bleeding finally stopped this morning. Yeah they gave me a big speach at the dentist office about straws or smoking cigarettes ( but I'm not a smoker) because it will cause a dry socket.
