Wishbone ranch bowlinggreen ky

Bringing another thread back from the dead.

Got a group going to Wishbone and most of not all of us haven't been there before.

What should we expect trail wise?

Is there a map?

What's the must see/must ride trails or obstacles?

What should be avoided without either balls of steel or deep pockets?

Make sure they will be open the day you plan to go. He used to have a map at the office. The trails range from mild to very hard. The hard stuff has bypass. Its a good park for the day.
Give me three steps and The Wash are good trails. You will have to hit Wizzos hill while your there.

Good to know all around.

Great place for a day's worth of playing. The trails and obstacles are not spread out. It is mostly rock and not really any mud holes, if that is your thing. Snot Rock and Terry's Territory can keep you busy for a while and they have bypasses too. Lyn is awesome and usually allows camping, but, as was mentioned check with him to make sure.

Good to know as well.

Anyone got other contact info for this park?

Didn't make the trip back in January due to weather, but may be headed back in a couple of weeks.

So far they haven't answered an email, a FaceSpace message, the phone, and their voicemail isn't setup…

@Markrobinson finally got a response back from Wishbone and they've changed business models so don't appear to be an off-road park anymore unless you decide to rent out the park/host an event.

Sounds like another one circling the drain for us.
Sounds that way for sure.

While 100% understandable to do whatever you want with your land, one of the common themes behind lots of off-road park closures is poor communication.

We had multiple people trying in multiple ways to contact this place in early January and never heard anything til the week of. Same this time around.

Hard to collect gate fees when you don't communicate that the gate will or won't be open.
