WJ dash groan. Any ideas?

Sounds like the blower's got something hitting it---maybe something's stuck in the blend door and when it moves whatever's stuck in there is hitting the blower, or the blend door itself? Put a stethoscope on the blend door actuator and see if you can pinpoint the exact area the noise is coming from.:awesomework: Good luck, hope you find it.

Ran climate diagnostics and got two fault codes:

52: AI (Recirc) door travel range too large
56: Right temperature door travel too large

Is this self-fixable for a slightly inexperienced person such as myself?

Might just be bad blend door actuators, or a bad ground/connection somewhere...if not, then the heater box needs to come out...

heat issues? my blend doors are out also. pretty sure thats the problem. but the kits on the blen dor stores site you can do with out taking the dash out.

common issue with wj you need to pull the dash and replace the recirc and blend doors most likely broken doors should also do the actuators at the same time

That sucks

Yeah blend door range too large means your blend is broken. Look under the glovebox where you here the noise. Pull the actuator out of the heater box turn the key on and start to turn the heat knobs and see if the motor spins if it does then the door is broken. If that's the case then the dash has to come out and you have to split the box. Make sure the new door is the updated one with a thicker stop on it

also if its above 70 k I would put a new heater core evap core since your there
