I always hear and see all these cool components that people find for their rigs at Tractor Supply. I've been deprived of a store near me until just recently when one opened. What should I be on the lookout for?

I like it that you can buy bolts and nuts by the pound. I usually get an assorted mess of 3/8 1/2 and what not. Plus if you are patient they usually mark down stuff for a steel. I bought a cold cut saw that was marked down to 120.00, and when they rang it up it was 30.00. oh ya ........oh ya. come on get some.

They sell boots too

yep TSC is good stuff. I have one about 10 minutes from me.

The Paola guys will totally not understand this thread. They have a store in P-town called "The Family Center" handsdown the best hardware, nuts, bolts selection outside of a Fastenal store and you can buy by the lb as well. I love that place.

Has any one been in a Sears Hardware in a while? My local one really built out their hardware in the past 6 months. It was pretty good before but its way legit now.

Sear Hardware? As in Craftsman ****? I was just in mine last night to get a leaf blower...all are 4 stroke now :gay:

The Family Center is bad ass! If you walk in in "city clothes" you get stared at :****:

Sears hardware across the street from me in suburbia, im scared to go in there. I think my debit card would start crying.

Sears for a leaf blower? Puhlease,,, gotta be a Stihl!

TSC also sell welding cable by the foot, so now my Warn multimount can actually get plugged in on my truck and used molaugh They also have a good selection if trailer parts, hubs, bearings, springs, lights, and ****.

I go get huge Chinese made tools there that I may use once or twice a year.

The quality is much better than Harbor Freight and the price is as good.

I love the trailer and strap section. You can get the 7' blue buggy straps with hooks on the ends there for about 1/2 price others sell them.

Yeah hardware by the pound at TSC is where it's at. No more getting gouged at Lowe's or Home Depot. We don't have one around here, wish we did...

Limited options here boss other than the chain home centers which are no better.

For real, You don't have any stihl dealers around you. I have atleast 5 within ten minutes from me.

I couldn't afford this hobby if I bought all my nuts and bolts at Lowe's and HD. Nor would they have enough bolts in stock for me. Commercial Account with Fastenal is where it's at! I bet you never knew A BBQ joint needed so many nuts and bolts! :)

I will say that fastenal is a rip off without a commercial account though. Before I opened mine they wanted like $8 for a 3/4" suspension bolt. After the account I pay under $1 for the same bolt.
