Wrangler idleing high

my dad has an 97 jeep wrangler TJ with a 4cyl It is having a proplem with to high of idle. It idles around 1500 to 2000 we have changed the throttle positioning sensor and the idle control sensor neither of them work to fix the problem. It used to load up but now that prolem has gone away and this problem has started any help would be appreciated

I'd look for a vacume leak, and if you don't find one you need to plug into a scanner and check codes. Could be one of many sensors sending bad readings.

the jeep has an self check on it and it says there nothing wrong. as for vaccum leaks we havent found any
