Your crossmember is most likely for a 79-83 with the shorter tranny.You can use your crossmember if you get some square ubolts like the kind toyota uses stock, but a little longer.Put the ubolts "U" over the frame and the threads into the slots/holes in the crossmember and then bolt it up and cut off the excess threads sticking out of the nuts.
