WTF Matt O?

An opportunity presented itself, so I am trying to take advantage. Don't really want to talk about it until the deal is done, somebody buy my rig!

I know, my current financial situation with the new house and **** led to most of that. Damn economy and shitty home market. I am fully committed this time, and the rig I want is mine whenever I want it. I found a super nice rig I can get into cheap and it passed my only hangup with used rigs, I can fit my big ass in it comfortably!!!! Have an offer for a trade and some cash from me, but I would rather sell outright because I think my rig is worth more than 17k.

I understand how you feel, but you will get to the point where you just want it gone. Trust me.
I thought my jeep was worth alot more than what I got for it, but I didn't care anymore.

Cole, if you don't mine passing on what kind of value you got for yours I would appreciate it. It will help me determine a fair price for mine. I am going to give it two weeks or so, then I will take the trade offer.

Cole is right. I have really gotten down about mine. I cannot seem to give it away and I am almost at that point. Mine has some really good parts on it and that does not seem to matter to most people. I am so ready to see mine gone you would not believe what I would really be willing to take for it right now. Plus it seems the market for rigs right now does not seem to be the best either. People just do not seem to have the disposable income laying around like they did a few years ago. Plus everyone wants a buggy, a 1 ton YJ or TJ is just another 1 ton YJ or TJ, nothing special.

I got a decent offer on mine already, I am going to hold out for more because I think my rig will bring it

I honestly don't think you will have any problem getting what you want for it.

yea I told Big Jim his bro-in-law was a moron if he passed up your deal... even your asking price was reasonable with the parts on the rig

Sale pending to an old guy in Colorado. He is coming this weekend. Looks like my Jeep will see Moab next weekend for the first time!!!!

:afro: I cant wait until he tells you guys what he's got in the sights.... Im stoked for lil buddy

Joel, Yours has a grip of great parts, but honestly the "curb appeal" on yours is outdated. It just doesnt carry "the look" people payin good money are lookin for. If I were in your shoes, Id salvage it for parts and swap into a chassis pre bought. Just my .02 on a cost effective way to get were you want without spending tons more money and time getting there.

Either way, this market is all about fit, you gotta find someone that fits that particular rig.

Im not doggin your heep at all , we all know its capable and has some really great parts.

Joel, my takes. Not drama not hating, not piling on with P, but I share his, and Lou's opinions.

Yours needs a helluva spit shine. Amazing what $50 in krylon will do for looks. No idea your bender access of fab skills. But you bend up a new killer cage for it, and that thing will go like a ****ing hotcake at a Fat Camp. Granted you'll have $600 in tube in it, but should net a greater return and be the pinnicale selling point.

Or part it, and buy crap pieces to keep it as a roller and sell it even cheaper.

The current status qou isn't moving so mix it up or ditch the effort. I think for what you are willing to drop in price you can clean it up ubber nice. Take good close detailed shots, and mix in the action. All you ads are action only. Its always hard to tell how a rig actually sits on level ground when you've only seen it flex on an obstacle.

Just my opinion. Maybe food for converstion tomorrow with Nolen.

As soon as I own it you guys will know. I am not letting the cat out until it is in my possession. I will say this rig is exactly what I would have built. It was built a while back, but it has lived a sheltered life for the last few years. I hope to have it within the next week, maybe even this weekend!!!
